The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run accounts, alerts, and billing, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t run ad trackers or cross-site tracking on this site. We do use a privacy-first analytics tool to see aggregate traffic, like which pages get visited and roughly how many people, and it can’t identify you individually. The rest of this page is the detail.
Browsing the job board: no account needed, and we don’t collect anything personal to let you search and filter roles.
Creating an account: just an email address, used for magic-link sign-in and alert delivery. We don’t ask for a password (there isn’t one to leak).
Follows and saved searches: which companies you follow and what filter combinations you’ve saved as alerts, so we know what to email you about.
Feedback submissions: whatever you write in the feedback form, plus an email address only if you choose to leave one for a reply. Feedback can be submitted without an account.
Plus billing: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe passes us back a customer/subscription reference and status (active, canceled, etc.), nothing more.
We use a small number of service providers to actually run Hiring Tempo, and each one only sees the data it needs to do its specific job. We don’t sell or share data beyond this:
Supabase (accounts, follows, saved searches, feedback storage), Stripe (Plus billing), Resend (sending alert emails), and Vercel (hosting the site itself). Each is a standard infrastructure provider with its own privacy practices covering the data it processes on our behalf.
We use one functional cookie to keep you signed in (via Supabase). We use Vercel Web Analytics to see aggregate traffic, which pages get visited and roughly how many people visit. It’s cookie-free and doesn’t track you individually or across other sites, it can only report anonymous, aggregate counts. We don’t run advertising trackers or cross-site tracking pixels on this site.
You can unfollow companies or delete saved searches anytime from your account page. To delete your account entirely or ask what data we hold on you, reach out. There’s no self-service delete button yet, so we handle these by hand for now, but we’ll act on a real request promptly.
Hiring Tempo isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
We’ll update the date at the top of this page whenever this changes in a way that matters. We recommend checking back occasionally if you have an account.
Reach us anytime through the feedback form.
