About the Role

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead the site execution of mission-critical data center projects in Singapore.

This is a senior individual contributor role with end-to-end accountability for construction delivery across base building, civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, controls, security, and life-safety systems. You will act as a key on-site leader, coordinating across project management, design, procurement, commissioning, operations, colocation providers, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, predictably, and to OCI standards.

You will be expected to exercise strong independent judgment, identify delivery risks early, challenge weak plans, and drive the decisions and corrective actions needed to protect schedule, quality, cost, and readiness milestones.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Lead Construction Delivery

  • Own day-to-day site execution for complex data center construction projects, including AI and high-density infrastructure.
  • Oversee base building, MEP systems, white space readiness, containment, enabling works, and associated construction interfaces.
  • Ensure construction is delivered in accordance with approved design intent, project standards, local requirements, and OCI expectations.
  • Maintain strong site presence and provide clear leadership across contractors, colocation providers, consultants, and delivery teams.

Drive Schedule and Readiness

  • Manage construction milestones, short-interval plans, look-ahead schedules, dependencies, and recovery actions.
  • Identify constraints before they affect critical dates and drive timely resolution across responsible parties.
  • Coordinate readiness across construction, tenant fit-out, network deployment, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
  • Ensure space, power, cooling, cable routes, access windows, cleanliness, and other prerequisites are available when required.

Own Risk, Quality, and Safety

  • Independently evaluate project risk, actual progress, and delivery plans, with clear assessment of potential business impact.
  • Lead QA/QC execution, including ITPs, inspections, NCRs, corrective actions, punch lists, progressive turnover, and closeout.
  • Drive compliance with safety requirements, local regulations, codes, project standards, and OCI policies.
  • Lead incident follow-up, audit actions, and corrective measures to improve future execution.

Manage Contractors and Commercial Performance

  • Hold colocation providers, contractors, and vendors accountable for scope, schedule, quality, safety, and coordination.
  • Support contractor performance reviews and provide structured feedback to inform future sourcing and delivery decisions.
  • Contribute to commercial administration, including variations, claims, extension-of-time requests, progress validation, and supporting records.
  • Ensure changes are controlled, documented, and assessed for schedule, cost, quality, and operational impact.

Lead Stakeholder Coordination

  • Run daily and weekly site cadence, contractor coordination meetings, progress reviews, and issue-resolution forums.
  • Provide concise, executive-ready reporting on schedule, risk, cost, quality, safety, actions, and decisions required.
  • Maintain clear action, issue, and risk registers and escalate blockers early with proposed options.
  • Partner closely with design, commissioning, operations, network, procurement, legal, finance, and project controls teams.

Improve Delivery Standards

  • Capture lessons learned and translate them into stronger construction practices, standards, and controls.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, quality, repeatability, and readiness across future data center projects.
  • Mentor less experienced team members and contribute to a high-accountability, high-performance construction culture.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience delivering data center, colocation, mission-critical, or comparable technical construction projects.
  • Strong construction knowledge across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, controls, and plumbing systems.
  • Proven experience managing projects from mobilization through construction, commissioning readiness, turnover, and handover.
  • Strong understanding of high-density data center environments and the interfaces between facility delivery, tenant fit-out, network deployment, and operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contractors, colocation providers, consultants, and vendors in complex delivery environments.
  • Strong schedule, risk, quality, and problem-solving capability, with confidence operating under pressure and ambiguity.
  • Experience supporting change management, claims, variations, EOTs, cost tracking, and progress validation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear executive updates and drive decisions across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Familiarity with project and document management platforms such as Aconex, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, SharePoint, or similar.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Why OCI

OCI is building infrastructure for some of the most demanding cloud and AI workloads in the industry.

In this role, you will have meaningful ownership of how critical data center capacity is delivered—from site execution through readiness and handover. Your work will directly influence safety, speed to capacity, reliability, and the quality of infrastructure supporting Oracle’s cloud growth in the region.

This is an opportunity to operate at significant scale, work alongside experienced infrastructure leaders, and help raise the standard for how mission-critical data centers are delivered.

If you are a construction leader who combines deep technical judgment with strong execution discipline and thrives in high-accountability environments, we’d like to hear from you.
