About the Team

Oracle Enterprise Engineering designs, builds, and supports mission-critical enterprise applications and platforms that power internal business operations. The CX team supports Oracle’s sales organization through CRM, Fusion Sales, and sales and marketing applications.

We build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions, modernize existing applications, and deliver new capabilities using cloud-native technologies. We also explore AI/ML and Generative AI to improve enterprise applications and business processes.

Work arrangement: Remote or hybrid arrangements are subject to team requirements and Oracle policies. These arrangements may change, including a future requirement to work from an Oracle office.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise applications.
• Build and enhance backend services, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations using Java, Python, and cloud technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex defects, optimize application performance, and maintain production stability.
• Improve software architecture, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop automated tests, participate in code reviews, and follow CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into maintainable software solutions.
• Contribute to AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives by integrating intelligent capabilities into enterprise applications.

Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of professional software development experience. For the positions discussed, the experience requirements are 5+ years for IC3 and 8+ years for IC4.
• Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Experience developing enterprise applications, REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of cloud technologies and software architecture principles.
• Experience with debugging, unit testing, version control, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Good to have Skills

• JavaScript development experience.
• Experience with CRM systems, Oracle Fusion Sales, or sales and marketing applications.
• Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and intelligent automation.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
